Schillerhöhe

Noch mal Schiller, aber diesmal aus einer anderen Perspektive (irgendwie habe ich Gefallen an dieser Technik gefunden). 1839 wurde das vom Dänen Bertel Thorvaldsen geschaffene Denkmal errichtet und war somit das erste Schillerdenkmal Deutschlands.
Schiller again. But from another point of view - I like these technique ;). This sculpture was created in 1839 by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen and it was the first Schiller monument in Germany.

    Thorvaldsen is the most famous of all Danish sculptors with his own museum in Copenhagen. Schiller is also looking at me!

    He looks rather scary up there. I'm afraid I don't know much Schiller beyond An die Freude, but the big camera shop near my home that I patronize is Schiller's. Is that good enough?
