These Shoes Are No Longer Good For Walking

Diesen Schuhen hängt förmlich die Zunge raus... Entdeckt in Stuttgart-Ost an der Hauswand einer nicht ganz gewöhnlichen Galerie.
These shoes are literally loose-lipped. Found at a house wall of a exceptional gallery in the East of Stuttgart.

    I have never seen shoes like these before coming here. What is the tongue out for?

    Is it like fins on an automobile -- to make them go faster?

    Funny. Do you see the Zunge-face at first shoe? It is very clear when it is discovered with nose and eyes.
