Be A Bürger Meister

Hungrig, aber nicht zu hungrig? Dann ist doch ein Becher Mini-Maultaschen, also Mauldäschle, genau das Richtige. Ich selbst habe es noch nicht ausprobiert, werde es aber garantiert nachholen, versprochen.
Are you hungry? But just a little? How about a cup of small Maultaschen. It's a traditional Swabian food, a mixture of minced meat, spinach, breadcrumb and onions flavoured with salt, pepper and parsley and covered with pasta dough. Unfortunately I haven't tried it myself, but I will make up for it. Promise!

  5. I've had Maultaschen, both in the US and in Germany. We had it in Baden Baden and it was delicious, better than its US cousin. It was a fancy restaurant so they dressed it up a bit too.

  7. So 'ne Maultache schmeckt doch sicher. Besonders wo ich hier am computer sitze und auf mein Frühstück warte.

  8. Sounds good to me, but a bit expensive by our standards for a small snack.

By the way, I found out through a mailing from the St. Louis Camera Club that Stuttgart and St. Louis are official sister cities. We should propose a toast.
