Rouse It From Slumber

Die Villa Berg scheint in einen Dornröschenschlaf gefallen zu sein. Die Fenster sind verriegelt und verrammelt, die Treppen sind schon lange nicht mehr benutzt worden. HEY, AUFWACHEN!
The villa Berg is fallen asleep into a 100-year sleep. The windows are locked and barricaded, the stairs haven't seen any person for a long time. WAKE UP!

Yes, wake up. This is the second house without people you have shown. Why can't such a house not be used for anything.

Great metaphorical post! It is too bad such a beautiful place has been neglected for so long. Why not buy it and restore it and sell it for a huge profit?

Yes! Wake up!! I have seen black and white photographs of the little palace from the late 1800s when King Karl and Queen Olga lived there. For a royal home, it was so small. Still, it was beautiful. It should be restored to its original. If the government can find all that money for Stuttgart 21, they can certainly find the money to restore this house and use it like it was used after 1918: tour place and nice outdoor café on the terraces. It would be nice for the Berg section of Stuttgart, too. Sad pictures there today. I just hope they don't ever tear it down.
