The Sportive Corner Of Stuttgart

Die Waldau ist bekannt als Sport- und Erholungszentrum von Stuttgart. Umgeben von viel Grün wird hier Fußball und Tennis gespielt, Schlittschuh gelaufen, geklettert und gejoggt oder aber sauniert. Zudem finden sich hier viele Lokale mit z.T. sehr gutem Speisen- und Getränkeangebot. Links unten ist das Gazi-Stadion der Stuttgarter Kickers zu sehen.

The area named Waldau is known as Stuttgart's centre for sport and recreation. Surrounded by a lot of greenery you can practise playing football or tennis, ice-skating, climbing and jogging or having a sauna. There are also many taverns which have fine offers of food and drinks. In the bottom left-hand corner of the photo you can see the quasi home stadium of the football club "Stuttgarter Kickers".

Ein Ruderer kam mir vor die Linse. Weit und breit war sonst niemand unterwegs auf dem Neckar. So hatte der gute Mann den Fluss ganz für sich allein.

An oarsman has crossed my lens. Nobody was there on the Neckar but the sportsman. Therefore he could oar fully relaxed.

Jogging And Talking With Dog

Es war ein herrlicher Tag, um im Wald mit dem Kumpel zu laufen und zu quatschen und sogar noch den Hund auszuführen. Wer sagt da noch, wir Männer seien nicht multitaskingfähig?

It was a lovely day to jogging in the forest and to talking with the best friend and to taking the dog out in the meantime. Who wants to assert that men are not able to multitask?

Auf der Waldau in Degerloch, der Sportgegend von Stuttgart, wird u.a. auch viel Fußball gespielt - selbst wenn Schnee liegt. Gleich in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich das "Gazi Stadion auf der Waldau", das u.a. Spielstätte der "Stuttgarter Kickers" ist.
