A Restaurant Which Is Called Like The City Railway Station

Das Restaurant "Wielandshöhe" an der Alten Weinsteige direkt gegenüber der gleichnamigen Zahnradbahn-Haltestelle. Sternekoch Vincent Klink verwöhnt hier die Gaumen seiner gut betuchten Gäste. Ich habe mir fest vorgenommen, mich hier auch mal verwöhnen zu lassen.

This is the restaurant named "Wielandshöhe" at the Alte Weinsteige. It is situated vis-a-vis the cog railway station of the same name. Top chef Vincent Klink pampers the palates of his well-heeled guests. My intention is to visit this establishment too. There is nothing to be said against a palate's titillation.

Kinder lieben diesen Platz hinter dem Fahrer, weil man so schön die Instrumente sehen kann und natürlich der Aussicht wegen. Auch ich wollte mich mal wieder wie ein Kind fühlen und habe das natürlich im Bild festgehalten.

Children love this place behind the train operator because of the view to the meters and the outlook too. I also wanted to feel like a kid again. So I've occupied the seat to make a photo. And I can quieten you down. There wasn't any other kid in the train.

Ein schönes Fachwerkhaus und ein noch schöneres Schild in Degerloch, direkt an der Haltestelle der "Zacke", der Zahnradbahn. Früher war hier der Gasthof "Zum Ritter" untergebracht.

This beautiful frame house and its most wonderful sign is situated at the station of the cog railway in Degerloch. In former times the inn named "Zum Ritter" was placed here.

Nicht nur im beschaulichen Florida benutzt man Golfwagen. Dieser hier gehört einer Gärtnerei am Waldfriedhof und wird für kleine Transporte genutzt. Hoffentlich hat er auch Winterreifen...

There aren't only golf cars in Florida's Villages. This one is owned by a garden centre near Waldfriedhof and it is used for small carryings. I hope there are installed winter tyres...

No, Sports!

Auf der Waldau in Degerloch, der Sportgegend von Stuttgart, wird u.a. auch viel Fußball gespielt - selbst wenn Schnee liegt. Gleich in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich das "Gazi Stadion auf der Waldau", das u.a. Spielstätte der "Stuttgarter Kickers" ist.
The "Waldau" in Stuttgart-Degerloch is known as a sporting area. Football is played there in winter too. A few steps from here is the "Gazi"-stadium, the home-playground of the club "Stuttgarter Kickers".

Live And Let Die

 

Ihr seht hier die "Jungfrau mit den Tränenschalen", die sich auf dem Waldfriedhof in Degerloch befindet. Die Figur wurde im Jahre 1914 vom Bildhauer Josef Zeitler geschaffen. Jeder Tropfen Wasser, der von einer der Schalen fällt, soll für ein soeben erloschenes Menschenleben stehen.
You can see the figure "the virgin with the cups of tears", which is situated on the cemetry "Waldfriedhof" in Degerloch. The figure was built in 1914 by the sculptor Josef Zeitler. Each waterdrop, which is falling off one of the cups, should emblematise a just lapsed human life.
