You Must Not Break Down The Wall To Get In

The House Of Arms

Dieses Haus mit seinen Erkern und Türmchen wartet mit einer weiteren Besonderheit auf.

This house with his bays and turrets offers another unusual feature.

Wunderschöne Wappen zieren die Hauswand.

Lovely coats of arms decorate the house wall.

Opera With Mirroring

Das festlich erleuchtete Opernhaus spiegelt sich im Eckensee.

The illuminated opera is reflected in the Eckensee.

This building at Heilbronner Straße was worth photographing to me.

The Mishandled Villa

An der Ludwigsburger Straße in S-Zuffenhausen steht dieses an sich schöne Haus. "Wehr Dich!" sollte man ihm zurufen. Wirklich schade, wie man Haus und Hof so misshandeln kann... Unten ist die Villa etwas detaillierter zu sehen.

There is this intrinsically beautiful house at Ludwigsburger Straße in Zuffenhausen. You should cry "Fight Back" to him. It's too bad about the mishandling of house and court... You can see the mansion more detailed at the bottom.

Signs And Their Buildings

Ein schönes Fachwerkhaus und ein noch schöneres Schild in Degerloch, direkt an der Haltestelle der "Zacke", der Zahnradbahn. Früher war hier der Gasthof "Zum Ritter" untergebracht.

This beautiful frame house and its most wonderful sign is situated at the station of the cog railway in Degerloch. In former times the inn named "Zum Ritter" was placed here.

Tauberquelle

An der Nesenbachstraße befindet sich die Tauberquelle. Das Haus ist ein weiteres Kleinod in Stuttgart. Über die Küche kann ich leider noch keine Aussage treffen.

The restaurant "Tauberquelle" is situated at Nesenbachstraße. The building is also one of Stuttgart's treasures. I'm not able yet to make a statement about the cuisine.

SDP On The Way - Buildings In Schorndorf

In der Innenstadt von Schorndorf stehen erstaunlich viele schöne Fachwerkhäuser. Kleine Boutiquen und Cafés haben sich dort niedergelassen.

There are surprisingly many beautiful frame houses in the old town of Schorndorf. Small boutiques and coffee bars have established themselves.

Gegenüber vom Bahnhof ist diese scheinbare Symbiose von Alt und Neu zu bestaunen.

Vis-à-vis the railway station there is this seeming symbiosis of old and new to be seen.

Just Another Sightly Buildings

Unterhalb der Weissenhofsiedlung stehen einige ansehnliche Wohnhäuser. Was sie so interessant macht ist die Bauweise.

There are also some sightly buildings under the Weissenhofsiedlung. One interesting fact is their construction method.

Rainbow Villa

Am Rande des M9-Sportplatzes befindet sich diese "Villa Kunterbunt".
There is this "Rainbow Villa" near the M9 sports ground.

The Building To The Fountain

Das ist das Gustav-Siegle-Haus an einem sonnigen Tag und herausgeputzt mit Pflanzen und Sonnenschirmen. Fetzige Jazzmusik entströmte dem Gebäude.

This is the Gustav-Siegle-Haus on a sunny day. It was adorned with plants and sunshades. When I was making this photo groovy jazz has regorged from this building.

Und das sind zwei Beispiele für die vielen wunderbaren Gebäude in S-Münster.

A Rural Idyll

So ein schönes Fachwerkhaus auf dem Lande, das wär's.... Halt! Wir sind in Stuttgart, wenn auch nicht mitten in der Stadt. Dieses wunderschöne Gebäude befindet sich neben einem klitze-kleinen Park in S-Münster.

I also dream about a beautiful frame house in the countryside... Ho! We're in Stuttgart even if this photo was made not in the city centre. This wonderful building is situated near a teeny park in Münster.

Drei Mohren

Das Restaurant "Drei Mohren" befand sich früher in der Friedrichstraße, in der Nähe des Schlossplatzes. In der 1980er Jahren wurde die Fassade des Gebäudes abgetragen und in der Pfarrstraße im Bohnenviertel wiederaufgebaut.

In former times the restaurant named "Drei Mohren" (Three Blackamoors) was situated at Friedrichstraße near Schlossplatz. The storefront of the original building was broken down in the 1980s and rebuilt at the Pfarrstraße in the Bohnenviertel.

A Little Bit Alpine Atmosphere

I can't help myself but this building reminds me of a typical alpine building. Unfortunately it was still to soon to deck out the wonderful wooden balcony with colourful flowers. This building is situated in a backyard and I wasn't able to view it at close range.

Diamonds In The Heusteigviertel

This building is one the eye-catchers in the Heusteigviertel. There is a coffeeshop in the ground floor. It is owned by a known bakery which is situated cater-cornered.

I like this light-coloured row of houses very much. There is also a small and cosy coffee shop in the ground floor of the corner building. The coffee is very good and the selection of pastries is manageable.

Fabrication In The Heusteigviertel

This building at Christophstraße and Mozartstraße has sheltered the publishing company named "Greiner & Pfeiffer".

Buildings In The Heusteigviertel

I show you two examples of the buildings from the threshold to the 20th century. The pharmacy named Mozart Apotheke is situated at Heusteigstraße and Immenhofer Straße. It looks like it has had its days. But the building is essentially still beautiful.
