The Hall Of Fame

Die "Hall of Fame" unter der König-Karl-Straße ist ein legales Graffiti-Gebiet. Hier wird ständig gesprüht und Kunst gemacht, der Duft nach Graffiti Spray scheint nie zu verfliegen.

The "Hall of Fame" is situated under the König-Karl-Straße in Bad Cannstatt. It is a legal graffiti area. The taggers make permanently art here. It seems that the flavour of the dispersions will not evaporate.

A Fisherman's Story

Nun wissen wir auch endlich, wer einem immer volle Bierflaschen an die Angel anbringt.
Now we've learned who's responsible for beer bottles at the fishing-rods.

Wo wir schon beim Angeln sind: die Kois werden natürlich schonender gefangen. Wer des Schwäbischen mächtig ist, könnte das Schild aber auch anders verstehen - "Kein Stuttgart im Hotel Wörtz" (so ist es natürlich nicht gemeint).

Speaking of fishing, needless to say that the koi carps are fished more gently. Are you able to speak Swabian? Then you could understand the words "Koi Stuttgart im Hotel Wörtz" as "No Stuttgart in the Wörtz hotel". But it is certainly an allusion to the coi carps.

Don't Eat Fish

Die ersten drei Fotos zeigen interessante Graffiti an einem sonst eher uninteressanten Gebäude in S-Münster. Ich nehme an, dass sich hier ein Verein namens "Schlaraffia Stutgardia" eingemietet hat.

The first 3 photos show interessting graffiti on a more uninteresting building in Münster. I assume that a society named "Schlaraffia Stutgardia" uses this building.

Dieses Graffito hat mit dem Verein wohl nichts zu tun. Die Botschaft, keinen Fisch zu essen, habe ich dennoch zu meinem heutigen Titel auserkoren.

This graffito is not linked to the society. Nevertheless I've choosen this message as my today's title.

October 2010 Theme Day: Graffiti

Heute, am 01. Oktober, zeigen die CDP-Mitglieder 'Graffiti' aus ihren Regionen. Ich fand diesen fotografierenden Hahn an einem Gebäude in Stuttgart-Ost. Ich denke, es passt auch gut zu diesem Fotoblog.

This month's Theme Day is 'graffiti'. I found this shooting cock on a building in the East of Stuttgart. It's also an applicable theme for this photoblog, isn't it?

Und das ist das Gebäude am Ostendplatz, an dessen Wand ich das Griffito entdeckt habe. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Fotogeschäft. Neben dem Schriftzug "Foto Hanauer" kann man auch das Fotohuhn sehen.

This is the building with the graffito. It's situated on the place named "Ostendplatz". There is a photo shop on the groundfloor. Do you see the lettering "Foto Hanauer" and the shooting cocks beside it?

Beside the Cannstatter Wasen I saw a wall with graffiti. I was especially interested in this creation of a religious artist. Do you see the animal top left of the head?
