The Catholic church St. Georg is open on Sundays. The slogan is an allusion to the shops and shopping centres which are open on Sundays from time to time. I know that many large stores in the US and in Great Britain are open on Sundays, it's normal. But it's unusual in Germany.

Some of the danish supermarkeds have opent every sunday, and ones a months they all have. In Maribo there are plans for all shops in the town to have opent every sunday - and have closed one weekday!
