- and the "Voss" bakery in Stuttgart-Ost, the flower shop "Das Veilchen" and the shelter organisation named "AWO" of the "Altes Feuerwehrhaus" (Old Fire Station) in Heslach and the company "EnBW" in Stuttgart-Gaisburg which have allowed to photograph in their properties or which have given feedback of my posts.

Quadrate, Practical, Good

These 'squared' trees are situated on the property of the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese in the Hohenzollernstraße. I'm curious about them when they will bloom in spring.

Mr. Fischer's View

This is the amazing view of Mr. Fischer down the "Hasenbergsteige" in the direction to a place named "Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Platz". There are some beautiful old buildings to the left and to the right of the green corridor which is white in the moment. Please follow the above 2nd link to get more informations (in German only).
This is the view to the soaring "Hasenbergsteige" if you would turn left from the above position.

Keep Cool Mr. Fischer!

This is the sculpture of J. G. Fischer, a German poet and playwright who lived from 1816 to 1897. It is situated on a street named Hasenbergsteige in the Western part of Stuttgart. The "Hasenberg" is one of the top addresses in Stuttgart. Coming from Heslach I enjoy to walk here.

I Wish You A Merry Christmas

I wish not only the Heslach people but also my followers and visitors of SDP a Merry Christmas.
Warum nicht mal so richtig "abhängen"?
Why not to chill for a while?
Oh! You better watch out,
You better not cry,
You better not pout,
I’m telling you why:
Santa Claus is coming to town!

Lunch In The Park

I can recommend you a lunchtime or a rest and a "Viertele" in the restaurant named "Melles". It is situated in the "Villa Berg" park. A sojourn on the patio is enjoyable in the summer.
Come in and find out!

Kitchen Art

Dieses Konstruktion steht im Park der Villa Berg im Stuttgarter Osten.
This structure is situated in the "Villa Berg" park in the East of Stuttgart.
The details are interesting. It is remarkable that lid and cake tin are used for decoration. In this way they are not disposed into the nature. The lid could be replaced by a new one.

Stuttgart Doorways #9

You see a side entrance of the New Castle in the city centre. Formerly it was residence of the Wuerttemberg kings. Today it is domicile of two departments. There are some interesting guided tours through the castle. It is also used for prestigious purposes by the government of the Land. You can rent the "White Hall" for festivities.
This room which is not the "White Hall" is waiting for guests. There are various receptions. Then this room is densely packed. I made this photo through a closed glass door. Please excuse the reflexions.

Lesson Seven: Swabian Quality

Un-Filtered - that's the way the Swabian loves beer too! I'm glad that the poster was spared from the scribblings.

Heavenly Vineyard

I Was Above Such Thing

This is the view you get if you stand above the "Schwabtunnel". This is the tunnel which connects the Western with the Southern part of Stuttgart.
The name of the tunnel comes possibly from Gustav Schwab. There is a bust on a building which is situated right of the above pictured steps.

Time After Time

Have You Been Already Lucky Today?

Arme Sau? Glücks-Schwein? Netter Halsschmuck...
Poor Sod? Lucky Pig? By all means it gets about a lot. I already saw this vehicle in the city. Now it was parked in a street in the South of Stuttgart. That way I used the opportunity to make some shots. What a nice neck's decoration...

News From The 3rd Fountain

Not A Cock-And-Bull Story

This is a building known as "Altes Schützenhaus" (Old Clubhouse) which is situated in Heslach. There are no longer shootings. An establishment named "Buddha Lounge" is situated in this wonderful building today. It invites to live concerts. In summer the "Open Air" area (or beer garden) is a favourite place.
