Ceresbrunnen

Der Ceresbrunnen in der Stuttgarter Markthalle. Der Brunnen wurde im zweiten Weltkrieg zum Teil schwer beschädigt. Es hat bis 2003 gedauert, da nahm sich der Fördervein "Alt Stuttgart" der Wiederherstellung des Brunnens an. Und so wurde er 2009 nach den Originalplänen des alten Brunnens wiederhergestellt. Das Wasser ist trinkbar.
You see the spring of Ceres in the market hall. It was demolished during World War II. But in 2003 an association has initiated the reconstruction. In 2009 the spring could reopend. The water is drinkable.

I am happy for the people that the spring is running again. It looks like it is a massive fountain.

A very impressive spring and piece of sculpture! I think a person should probably see it in person to get its full impact!
