Make The Best Of That Lovely House

I've realized this lovely building at a walk from Heslach to Vaihingen. If the owner would remove the advertisement, if he would restore the wooden elements and add some flowers for decoration - this building could be an eye's delight.

Thank you for your comments.
@Abe: I don't know, but it could be. It looks like an old schoolhouse. There are no informations about this building. Sorry!

It is an eye's delight if you ignore the sign. I can imagine how beautiful it would be if he followed your advice.

Even just removing the advertisement would be a big improvement.

Oh, yes that building is Augenschmaus, in danish øjesmovs. But the PR must be taken away...

Maybe the owner is compensated for the ads and that's the way he's paying for the house. The ad does rather detract from it's glory, though.

Re the Goethe State Forest: In 1992 the State of Florida bought the land from J. T. Goethe and thus named the forest for him. Perhaps that was part of the deal?

It is a lovely old building - I can imagine in its former glory, ladies leaning out of the dormer windows for some sun. Pity about the yellow ad wrap, it does stand out like a sore thumb, but that's what the owner has in mind. At least it hasn't been knocked down to make way for a modern building.
Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words.
Cheers.
