Stuttgart Doorways #9

You see a side entrance of the New Castle in the city centre. Formerly it was residence of the Wuerttemberg kings. Today it is domicile of two departments. There are some interesting guided tours through the castle. It is also used for prestigious purposes by the government of the Land. You can rent the "White Hall" for festivities.
This room which is not the "White Hall" is waiting for guests. There are various receptions. Then this room is densely packed. I made this photo through a closed glass door. Please excuse the reflexions.

A very impressive building, Steffen...and what room which is not the White Hall looks quite beautiful - a marble floor? I would go to a reception there, but probably wouldn't be invited...being, you know, a "commoner."

And a very merry Christmas to you, too!
