Greened Up Building

I wanted to show you this beautiful old building lightly overgrown with ivy. It is situated in the east of Stuttgart in the Gerokstrasse. The residents have an impressive look-out to the Schlossplatz - they are really enviably.

Beautiful building and very well shot. We don't think that's what they mean when they talk about "going green" but we still like it.

I always like architecture like this one! And the green wines are like frosting on a delicious konditorei cake!
Prima!

I do like ivy and it looks good but it is hard on buildings...nevertheless, this is a gorgeous structure...I'd love to explore the place!

It is a very beautiful building. I wonder if the climbing plant is causing any damage to the masonry work?

We're off on a mystery tour tomorrow for 12 days, Steffen, not sure if we have wireless access but we'll try.

My mother-in-law's house in Berlin is also "green" like this. It looks nice!

It's wonderful that old buildings like this one are still standing and being appreciated for their interesting details. Lovely shot.
