Attention: You Could Get Wet

You see one of four ancient gargoyles which are installed at the tower of the old fire station in Heslach. The angle is not perfect. But I hope you can get an idea of the fabulous workmanship.

The workmanship is beautiful. But you have also captured and intriguing photo with the angle of the car lined street off to the right, the houses in the left, the stormy skies and the silhouette of the roof! Really a lot of interest there.

Nothing like that in the US. It is so high above the street that I thinik it was meant for the pleasure of people looking out of upper windows.

Perfect angle - or you would fall down?

I am used to stone gargoyles where I come from in Brittany. Never seen cast iron ones!
