Be A Bürger Meister

Hungrig, aber nicht zu hungrig? Dann ist doch ein Becher Mini-Maultaschen, also Mauldäschle, genau das Richtige. Ich selbst habe es noch nicht ausprobiert, werde es aber garantiert nachholen, versprochen.
Are you hungry? But just a little? How about a cup of small Maultaschen. It's a traditional Swabian food, a mixture of minced meat, spinach, breadcrumb and onions flavoured with salt, pepper and parsley and covered with pasta dough. Unfortunately I haven't tried it myself, but I will make up for it. Promise!

It might be OK, but I think I'll pass.

I'm trying to decide if I'd rather be a Burger Meister or a Burgermeister?!

I've had Maultaschen, both in the US and in Germany. We had it in Baden Baden and it was delicious, better than its US cousin. It was a fancy restaurant so they dressed it up a bit too.

So 'ne Maultache schmeckt doch sicher. Besonders wo ich hier am computer sitze und auf mein Frühstück warte.

Sounds good to me, but a bit expensive by our standards for a small snack.

By the way, I found out through a mailing from the St. Louis Camera Club that Stuttgart and St. Louis are official sister cities. We should propose a toast.

It sounds pretty good. I bet it would go good with a beer too!
