Der diesjährige "Altherrenausflug" führte mich (und mehrere andere ältere "Knaben") nach Brackenheim-Botenheim. Zuerst haben wir beim Weingut von Rolf Holzwarth in der Besenwirtschaft "Spundloch" Station gemacht, wo wir ein deftiges Frühstück und das eine oder andere Viertele zu uns nahmen. Anschließend ging es zu einer gemütlichen Wanderung in den Weinbergen unterhalb des Michaelsberges bei Cleebronn. Mit einem herzhaftem Winzerbraten, Kaffee und Kuchen und natürlich (viel) Wein ließen wir den Tag wieder bei Rolf Holzwarth und seiner Familie ausklingen. Heute und an den nächsten Tagen möchte ich einige Bilder des Ausfluges zeigen. Viel Vergnügen!
I went in for a "trip of the elder gents" to Brackenheim-Botenheim on Sunday. Our first stop was the vineyard of Mr. Rolf Holzwarth. There is a cosy wine tavern named "Spundloch" (tap hole) where we got a solid breakfast and some quarter(le)s of wine. Afterwards we made a walk through the vineyards beneath a hill named "Michaelsberg". We let the day fade away in a cosy atmosphere in Mr. Holzwarth's vine tavern again. There were a tasty roast, coffee and self-made cake for dessert and many quarter(le)s of wine. I want to show you some interesting photos in the next 3 days. Enjoy yourself!

I would have loved to be there too and sample Herr Holzwath's fine wines.
