Maritime Symbole gibt es jede Menge auf dem Fischmarkt.

There are many maritime symbols on the fish market.

Auch Live-Musik gab es. Einige Mutige haben sich ganz dicht an die Bühne gesetzt oder getanzt.

Live music was played. Some brave people were sitting near the stage. A woman was grooving to the music.

Zum Essen und Trinken gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten im Schatten. Da kann man sich den Fisch so richtig schmecken lassen.

There are many shady seatings for eating and drinking. You can enjoy your fish dish there.

Hummel, Hummel - Mors, Mors

Man kann sich nicht verlaufen, wenn man zum Hamburger Fischmarkt auf dem Karlsplatz gelangen will. Folgen Sie dem roten Pfeil (oder einfach der Nase vertrauen).

You can't get lost if you want to go to the Hamburg fish market on the Karlsplatz in the city centre. Please follow the red arrow or have confidence in your nose.

Ein Schiff und ein Leuchtturm dürfen auf einem Fischmarkt nicht fehlen. Im Leuchtturm werden oben die Fische zubereitet und gelangen dann auf einer Rutsche nach unten zu den Kunden.

A ship and a lighthouse may not be failed on the fish market. The lighthouse is an eye-catcher. Upstairs there is the kitchen. The prepared fishes comes downwards on a chute to the customers.

The Look Back On The Cheese Church From Himmelsleiter

Blick zurück vom Gebäude der Deutschen Rentenversicherung an der Haltestelle Himmelsleiter auf die Auferstehungskirche (Käse-Kirche) in Rot.

This is a view to the "Cheese Church" in Rot. My position was beside the building of the "Deutsche Rentenversicherung" which is situated vis-à-vis the station "Himmelsleiter".

Fountains Of Stuttgart, No. 000014

Die Neugestaltung des kleinen Parks an der Haltestelle Fürfelder Straße in S-Rot wurde erst vor kurzem abgeschlossen. Dazu wurde auch dieser dreiteilige Brunnen installiert.

The redevelopment of this small park at station Fürfelder Straße in Rot was finished a short time ago. Now it has got a threepart fountain.

von oben nach unten: klein fängts an, dann eine mäßige Steigerung und zu guter Letzt ein Paradies für Kinder, die hier oft durchrennen

from the bottom up: at first there is a very small part, there is a moderate increase in the middle and in the end there is a paradise for the kiddies who love to run through the founains

The Opening Ceremony Is Very Near

Noch ist die Haltestelle "Zuffenhausen Rathaus" nicht in Betrieb. Aber bald soll die Strecke bis nach Stammheim mit einem Fest eröffnet werden.

The new built station "Zuffenhausen Rathaus" (town-hall) is still out of service. There will be shortly an opening ceremony for the new build track to Stammheim.

Buhlen hier zwei Damen um einen Herren? Oder hat ER zwei Herzen gebrochen? Vielleicht frage ich mal die Bewohner des Hauses in Zuffenhausen, wo diese "ménage a trois" sich befindet.

Are the two ladies courting the gentleman's favour? Or has HE broken two hearts? Perhaps I'll ask the residents of this building in Zuffenhausen where this "ménage a trois" is situated.

The Old Look-Out

Der Burgholzhof-Aussichtsturm wurde 1891 durch den Verschönerungsverein Cannstatt gebaut, 1987/88 saniert und der Öffentlichkeit wieder zugänglich gemacht.

This look-up at Burgholzhof was built in 1891 by a society named "Verschönerungsverein Cannstatt". The tower was renovated in 1987/1988 and reopened to the public.

Ganz in der Nähe vom Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus befindet sich ein idylisches Plätzchen, von dem man eine herrliche Aussicht auf einen Teil von Stuttgart und Umgebung hat. Vielleicht hilft das ja den Patienten vom RBK bei der Genesung. Fast in der Mitte ist der Gaskessel von Gaisburg (S-Ost) zu sehen.

There is an idyllic place with wonderful views over parts of Stuttgart and its surroundings. It is situated near the Robert Bosch hospital at Burgholzhof. Perhaps the lookout is helpful for the recovery of the patients. Almost in the middle of the photo you can see the gas tank of Gaisburg.

Who Is Doctor House?

Auf dem Burgholzhof, einem Stadtteil von Bad Cannstatt, befindet sich wohl das bekannteste Krankenhaus der Stadt, das Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus (RBK).

There is probably the best known hospital at the Burgholzhof. The Burgholzhof is a quarter of Bad Cannstatt and the name of the hospital is Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus.

Glass And Concrete And Vine

Dieses als "OASIS III" bezeichnete Gebäude an der Heilbronner Straße in Feuerbach ist wegen seiner enormen Glasfront ein echter Hingucker.

This building with its humungous glass facade is named OASIS III and it is situated at Heilbronner Straße in Feuerbach. Isn't it an eye-catcher? 

Pragsattel

Blick vom Weinberg auf die gegenüber gelegene Stadtbahnhaltestelle Pragsattel und dem prägenden Hochbunker mit Videobildschirm (man beachte die Temperaturanzeige). Links gut zu erkennen das Segel auf dem Bülow-Turm und gleich "daneben" der Fernsehturm.

The Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity is situated not far from the resurrection church or cheese church at Haldenrainstraße in Rot.

Diese Brauereipferde dienen als Türgriff bei der Brauerei Dinkelacker in der Tübinger Straße in S-Süd.

The dray-horses are used as door knobs of the entrance of the Dinkelacker brewery at Tübinger Straße in Süd.

Wir stehen hier direkt vor dem Eingang mit Blick zum Marienplatz. Bei der Phototour hat mich mein Sohn Felix begleitet.

Feast Of Corpus Christi

Heute ist Feiertag in Baden-Württemberg, es ist Fronleichnam. Vor ein paar Wochen hat mein Weihnachtskaktus in meinem Büro noch geblüht, eine Blüte präsentiere ich heute. Ich bin auf dem Weg zum Bodensee, hoffentlich stau- und unfallfrei. Ein schönes verlängertes Wochenende und eine gute Zeit wünche ich Euch.

Today we have a public holiday in Baden-Württemberg, it is Feast of Corpus Christi. I show you a blossom of my Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera) which is situated in my office. It was still in full bloom a few weeks ago. Today I'll go to the Lake of Constance. I hope it will be an unstressed trip. I wish you a wonderful extended weekend and a pleasant time.
